White Agapanthus Reviews

The paths are messy, The Plank is closed for repairs, most gardens are too dry, the lawns look dreadful - I feel moderately disheartened (as well as lazy). And to think that those Australian gum trees are almost totally to blame for everything!

Today my gardening plans are just as simple as yesterday's winning formula. I'll work my way logically through the Hen House gardens with the rake. I'll continue watering the back of the Wattle Woods at the same time - multi garden-tasking! If I get time (and have spare energy) the new garden at the back of the pond will also get raked and sorted. But whatever I do there will be a positional sequence of gardening events. Ha! No sidetracks or tangents allowed!

Achillea Coronation Gold

Named by Miss Pole of Lye End Nursery in southern England, this plant was first offered to commemorate the coronation of Elizabeth II.
This 2.5- to 3-feet-tall and 1.5-foot wide plant produces dense, flat clusters of golden yellow flowers above fern-like, silvery foliage starting in early summer.

Achillea Filipendulina

Achilleas are traditional border flowers valued for their feathery foliage and striking flat, circular heads of flowers throughout the main summer season. They team well with other perennial flowers and are a vital ingredient of a traditional herbaceous border. They are also at home in island beds, cottage gardens and other perennial planting schemes. The cultivar 'Gold Plate' has mid-green to grey-green leaves with bright golden yellow flower-heads that are 15cm (6in) across.
